1. Description of Service

Spicy Sports is a fantasy sports analytics platform that provides:

• Live sports scores and statistics for NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL
• Fantasy sports analytics, rankings, and insights
• Integration with Yahoo Fantasy Sports for personalized league data
• Integration with Sleeper Fantasy for NFL and NBA league data
• Community features for members of the Spicy Sports Discord server

The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not provide financial advice, and fantasy sports decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Authentication

To access certain features of the Service, you must sign in using a supported third-party authentication provider (Discord, Yahoo, or X). By signing in, you:

• Authorize us to access information from your provider account as described in our Privacy Policy
• Confirm that you have the authority to grant such access
• Agree to comply with the terms of service of the authentication provider

2.2 Discord Community Membership

Certain features of the Service ("Fantasy Analytics") require membership in the Spicy Sports Discord server. We verify your Discord membership status when you sign in, and access to these features may be revoked if you leave the Discord community.

2.3 Yahoo Fantasy Sports Access

To view personalized fantasy sports data, you must connect your Yahoo account and grant us read-only access to your Yahoo Fantasy Sports data. We access this data solely to provide our analytics services and do not modify your Yahoo Fantasy teams or leagues.

2.4 Sleeper Fantasy Access

Sleeper integration does not require account authentication. You can add any Sleeper account by providing the username. All Sleeper fantasy data is publicly accessible through Sleeper's public API—this is how Sleeper's platform works by design.

By adding a Sleeper username, you acknowledge that: (a) the data displayed is publicly available; (b) you have the right to view this data; and (c) we do not have access to Sleeper account credentials and cannot modify Sleeper leagues or rosters.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our express permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful code, malware, or malicious content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

4. No Affiliation with Sports Leagues

Spicy Sports is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL), Yahoo, Sleeper, or any sports team or league.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users or third parties), features, and functionality are owned by Spicy Sports and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Third-Party Content and Trademarks

The Service displays content from third-party sources, including:

• Yahoo Fantasy Sports: League data, team names, player information, and related content are provided by Yahoo and are subject to Yahoo's terms of service
• NHL: Game scores, schedules, standings, and related content. NHL, the NHL Shield, the Stanley Cup, and all NHL team logos are trademarks of the NHL and its teams
• NBA: Game scores, schedules, standings, and related content. NBA, the NBA logo, and all NBA team logos are trademarks of NBA Properties, Inc.
• Sleeper: Fantasy league data, player information, and related content accessed via Sleeper's public API. Sleeper is a trademark of Blitz Studios, Inc.
• Team Logos and Trademarks: Sports team names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners

5.3 License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms:

• Discord: Authentication and community membership verification
• Yahoo: Fantasy Sports data access and authentication
• Sleeper: Fantasy Sports data access via public API (no authentication required)
• X (Twitter): Authentication

We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services. Changes to third-party services may affect the functionality of our Service.

7. Data Accuracy and Availability

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed on the Service
• Sports data, scores, and statistics are obtained from third-party sources and may contain errors or delays
• Fantasy analytics and rankings are provided for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for decisions
• The Service may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPICY SPORTS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Spicy Sports and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Leaving the Spicy Sports Discord community
• Revoking OAuth access through Discord, Yahoo, or X
• Request by you to terminate your account
• Discontinuation of the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your use at any time by signing out and discontinuing access to the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spicy Sports regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
